Traveling gluten free vegan

It can be very difficult to travel and manage a gluten free, vegan diet.  I was just in San Jose, Houston, Seattle and Austin.  I found a few restaurants where I could get amazing salads and some veggies, but not much else.  I would up eating refried beans, avocado, tomato, corn tortillas and salsa for many meals.  I did not have a vehicle to get to some far flung raw and vegan restaurants, unfortunately.  But I have learned  that wherever I go, I can usually pick up some refried beans, corn tortilla chips or tortillas, avacado, tomato and delicious salsas.
